Hailing from Farmington, Utah, Dr. Sanders enjoys the unique culture and community of the Wasatch Front. She completed her undergraduate degree at Utah State University, and her graduate degree from Brigham Young University, in Clinical Psychology and neuropsychology. Her pre-doctoral internship was completed at Miami Children's Hospital, in Miami, Florida, in the neuropsychology rotation. She then worked with adults during her post-doctoral training at Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital in Denver, Colorado, and Intermountain Medical Center's Outpatient Rehabilitation department, in Murray, Utah.
